This amazing Hamsa features Hebrew text and large bronze medallion in the center as well as small Hamsa at the bottom and scrolling line at the top that also serves as the bail for its hanging cord. The Hebrew text on the medallion features the opening verse of the Shema prayer recited twice daily. The Hebrew text at the top reads “Ki Orech Yamim U-Shnot Chaim Ve-Shalom Yosifu Lecha” that means “For they will add for you lengthy days and years of life” in English and is a verse from the Book of Proverbs. This Hamsa is accented by a small bead at the bottom in the center of the small Hamsa on its body and has smooth surfaces.
